Our vision is to nurture and educate happy, capable children. Having planted strong educational roots at Pequeñas Semillas, our enthusiastic and successful students go on to continue their education at well-recognized institutions, both nationally within Peru and internationally. We believe that individual development, respect for our environment, and a caring approach to learning and one another are essential to building a thriving educational community. After more than a decade in Lucrepata, Cusco, we are now ready to extend our reach into the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Pequeñas Semillas, as a preschool open to both the local neighborhood and families from abroad, recognizes and respects the value of all beliefs and cultures. As children arrive from nearby communities and other countries, we teach them to appreciate both our traditional Cusqueñan values and universal human values. Through regional and traditional activities included in our pedagogical calendar, we help them develop a strong sense of identity. What matters most to us is leading by example, so that our children grow into moral individuals with the opportunity to thrive in a fair and empathetic society. Our goal is to make children happy and to empower them to reach their own aspirations—something every parent deeply wishes for. As we establish new roots in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we understand the need to show even greater respect for the ancestral heritage that is woven into the daily life of the local population. Inca and pre-Inca monuments continue to be regarded, as they always have been, as living presences in our passage through the world. When something is moved or work is carried out, a traditional ceremony is often performed for Pachamama or the relevant cosmic entities. An integral education can bring traditional and modern knowledge together, creating a unique fusion that enriches and supports the development of the local community. Learn more
